AnterVue FAQ

Is AnterVue a camera?
No. AnterVue is an adapter, not a standalone camera. It includes a 10× macro lens and uses the smartphone’s main camera to capture high-quality anterior segment images.

Why the image I captured is blurry?
AnterVue's optimal working distance is 1.5–2 cm. To stabilize your hand, rest your fingers on the patient’s forehead while gently moving AnterVue closer to the eye until the image is clear.

What is the function of the yellow filter?
The yellow filter is used in combination with cobalt blue illumination to enhance fluorescein staining. It helps make ocular pathologies more visible, especially during OK lens fittings and TBUT (Tear Break-Up Time) tests.

How do I recharge AnterVue?
AnterVue has a built-in battery. A Type-C charging cable is included in the package.

Which phones are compatible with AnteriorVue?

  • iPhones: Compatible with all iPhone models.
  • Android phones: Compatible with most models.
  • Tablets: Also compatible with iPads and other tablets.
