How to Check EyeStream Compatibility for Slit lamps

1. Compatible slit lamp types

EyeStream currently supports slit lamps with the following configuration:

  • Upper illumination (upper light source) slit lamps

  • Rotation drum magnification system (typically 3 or 5 magnification steps)

 2. Haag-Streit BQ900 and similar models

For slit lamps such as the Haag-Streit BQ 900 (and similar designs), EyeStream is directly compatible.

  • These models typically provide sufficient mounting space and structural support

  • No additional measurement is usually required for basic compatibility confirmation

  • Standard installation setup applies

3. Topcon-style slit lamps (require measurement verification)

For Topcon-style slit lamps or similar designs, please perform the following measurements to confirm compatibility:
A. Eyepiece center-to-center distance

  • Place a ruler horizontally beneath the two eyepieces

  • Measure the distance between the optical center points of both eyepieces

  • This confirms whether the EyeStream optical alignment module can be properly positioned

B. Vertical clearance for joystick installation

  • Measure the vertical distance from the bottom of the eyepiece assembly to the top of the joystick

  • Ensure there is sufficient clearance to install the EyeStream module without obstruction during operation

4. Final verification

If you are unsure about compatibility after measurement:

  • Please send photos with ruler markings clearly visible

  • Include a side view of the slit lamp with joystick area

  • Our engineering team will verify installation feasibility
